With expert tuition, you can literally run off a 70 metre cliff and safely swing down a wire at around 40mph. Cumbria’s gorges and quarries are laced with zip wires, including the UK’s largest and scariest. To see what's on offer, you can visit the high-wire adventure trail which stretches for a mile through Grizedale forest.
