Wakeboarding
Haverigg is a popular location for those devoted to a wild and wonderful mix of nowboarding, surfing and skateboarding. Get a tow out of the water and then let go and start surfing. Wakesurfing means you ride the waves behind the boat, on something very similar to a surfboard. What's more, although you may move pretty fast the boat doesn't, so there's no problem on lakes with speed limits. Use the wake of the boat to launch yourself up to 15 feet in the air - then move on to purpose-built obstacles! It's surprisingly easy to get the hang of if you've ever ridden any kind of board.
