Manesty Holiday Cottages consist of five fully-equipped self-catering cottages created out of a traditional Lakeland farm in the heart of Borrowdale, just south of Derwentwater. The five cottages plus studio apartment are as follows

1. Manesty Band (sleeps up to 7 people). The first floor has four bedrooms: two doubles, one single, and one with double and single, bathroom/WC and separate shower/WC. The ground floor comprises two large rooms: a kitchen with dining table, and sitting room complete with piano. There are uninterrupted views across the valley from all rooms and gravelled parking flanks the large sloping lawn.

2. Manesty (sleeps up to 6 people). There are three bedrooms upstairs: two doubles, and one with double and single, and a bathroom/WC. Downstairs the large entrance hall, once the scullery and still with original stone slab and bulls-eye window, leads into the old farmhouse kitchen with traditional pine dining table. Opening off the kitchen is a laundry room which leads to a shower room/WC. There are uninterrupted views across the valley from the lounge and one bedroom; the remaining rooms look towards the peaks of Skiddaw. The old garden gateway leads to a small lawn.

3. Manesty Dairy (sleeps up to 2 people). There is one double bedroom on the ground floor, together with an enclosed verandah, and bathroom/WC. The kitchen and lounge/dining room are upstairs. The lounge looks over High Seat towards the fells at the head of Borrowdale.

4. Cocklety How Stable Loft (sleeps up to 4 people). Cocklety How Stable Loft is part of Cocklety How, a converted 17th Century barn, which comprises 2 first floor self-contained apartments over storage space. An interconnecting door allows them to be occupied together. The smaller apartment is referred to separately as Cocklety How Studio Apartment, which can also be rented separately. There are two double bedrooms, one with a 4ft bed suitable for two children, kitchen with dining area, sitting room, and bathroom/WC. The kitchen and sitting room look over Borrowdale. The back door opens onto a paved patio, the front onto gravelled space and lawn.

5. High Seat (sleeps up to 5 people) This is the Southern farm building, which has been converted into a bungalow.There are two bedrooms: one double and one with double and single, bathroom and separate WC. The kitchen/diner and large lounge enjoy beautiful views southwards towards the head of Borrowdale. The porch and sunroom add an extra dimension and open on to gravel parking and the lawn below.

6. Cocklety How Studio Apartment is entirely self-contained, occupying one end of the first floor, but it has the additional facility of an interconnecting door allowing it to be occupied together with the Stable Loft, a two-bedroom apartment at the south end of the building. The Studio Apartment has its own entrance at first floor level of a patio, a sunny aspect and uninterrupted views towards the western side of Borrowdale, looking towards the peaks of Walla Crag, Falcon Crag, Shepherd's Crag, Brown Dodd and King's How. The kitchenette and shower/WC open off the Studio, which has a 5' bed, colour TV and dining area.
