The Inn Way: Pub Walks

The Inn Way by Mark Reid, offers a range of guides that "fuse local history, geography and geology. And, of course, there are lots of places to stay on the way. The walk is in 7 stages and includes 90 miles of beautiful walks over 7 days, taking in 44 fantastic Lakeland pubs. The route through the English Lake District starts and finishes at Ambleside, on the northern tip of Windermere. The walk then takes in Rydal, Grasmere, Far Easedale, Borrowdale, the High Spy ridge, Derwentwater, Coledale, Loweswater, Crummock Water, Buttermere, Ennerdale, Wasdale, Wast Water, Eskdale, the Duddon Valley, Coniston Water, Swirl How, Great Langdale and Elterwater.

The most easterly point is Ambleside, northerly point is Braithwaite (near Keswick), westerly point is Loweswater (village) and southerly point is Broughton-in-Furness."Check out Mark's Top Tips  and his thoughts on the health benefits of walking.
